About Me

Dana Tiger: Muskogee, Oklahoma, United States; I am Muscogee, Seminole and Cherokee, born and raised in Muskogee Oklahoma. As soon as I was able I packed my bags and moved far, far away to Park Hill Oklahoma where I met and fell in love with Donnie Blair. I asked him to marry me and in 1992 Christie was born and two years later, our son, Lisan. My passion and life's work were passed to me from my legendary father, Jerome Tiger. In 2002 I founded the non profit, Legacy Cultural Learning Community to carry on artistic Native traditions and to pass them on to the next generation. In 1999 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Each day I try to love and find joy in the life around me. Our family works together at Tiger Art Gallery in Muskogee.
